What is CONTACT of Northern New Jersey?

CONTACT of Northern New Jersey is a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit, non-sectarian helpline, which has been providing crisis intervention and listening services located in Northern New Jersey since 1981.

Why do callers call us?

• We are available to anyone who needs to talk, which may include any person who needs to know that life is worth living.
• We are here 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM / 7 days a week to answer calls for help about many issues including loneliness, depression, stress, family problems, financial troubles, abuse and suicide.
• We are staffed entirely by volunteers trained to listen without judging or giving advice.
• We provide our services free of charge.
• All calls are anonymous and confidential.
